Jets sign new seniors coach for 2021

What was once a distant dream for our President Peter Bax, North Shore Jets new seniors side in 2021 is fast becoming a reality with the signing of a new coach Ash Rosenow. Believe it or not, Ash was originally North Shore Jets inaugural senior mens coach back in 2012, and after work took him away remotely from the coast at the time, he’s now back in the saddle & it’s as if he never left! Just when you think it can’t get any better, pre season training has swung into gear (Images below) & the turn out of local talent has arrived in the droves. ‘it’s a sight that makes the hairs stand up on your arms!’

WE’RE IN GOOD HANDS

Ashley was Born with AFL footy in his blood. His father played for Geelong in the 60’s & Ash himself played high level football in Victoria as a young bloke. With that said, it doesn’t take a genius to see that he’s a Geelong supporter through & through! I had a few short & simple questions for Ash, just so we could get to know him a little bit better.

Question: Who’s your favourite player of all time? Without hesitation or stammer he quoted:

‘Ablett… Junior or Senior!’

Question: What is it you love about coaching Ash?

“It’s a hard gig, but I love the challenge and getting the best out of people!

Question: What’s it you love about the North Shore Jets:

“To put it into perspective, Jets is a family club that has a great community feel, and it’s a football club where everyone is welcome!”
